Anyone who has ever owned something that is as a much a part of their lives as a boat, plane, horse, etc. knows that their family either has to go beyond acceptance to support of their passion, or there will be problems. In my case, my family has been supportive of flying in general, and my Long-EZ in particular.
Although Kay and I had only been dating for a few months, I asked her if she would mind if I purchased a plane. It’s over two decades later, and I still have both Kay and the plane.
On top of this, we have two great sons, Sean and Alex, who enjoy flying and where it takes them.
Thanks to them for being so supportive.
